Condoize ADUs coming to San Francisco
San Francisco is considering new legislation allowing accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to be sold as condominiums. This move aims to create more entry-level housing and help multi-generational families stay in their homes. ADUs are an affordable housing option that doesn’t require land purchase or major new infrastructure.
This appears to be the second city close to adopting this legislation. San Jose had adopted this legislation in 2024.
